Early "Buddy" Morris, Jr. passed away on December 23, 2017 at the age of 91. He is survived by his wife, Paula; his children and their spouses; Deborah Buck (Lloyd), Larry Morris (Betty), Tim Morris (Rickie) and Van Morris (Rochelle); his 7grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Buddy was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Ann Morris. The Funeral Service will be held at Bethany Christian Church on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be prior to the service at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Bethany Christian Church.

Life Story for Early "Buddy" Morris Jr.
It is with great sadness that the family of Early “Buddy” Morris, Jr. announces his passing after a brief illness, on Saturday December 23, 2017, at the age of 91 years.
Buddy is survived by his wife of 7 years, Paula: his children and their spouses; Deborah (Debbie) and Lloyd Buck, Larry and Betty Morris, Tim and Rickie Morris and Van and Rochelle Morris. He will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren (Matthew Morris, Katie Sigmon, Ashlan Smith, Stephen Busby, Wesley Busby, Sachi Morris and Vohn Morris) and great- grandchildren (Parker and Fletcher Busby) as well as several nieces and nephews and many friends. Buddy was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Ann Morris as well as his granddaughter, Adriene Busby and sisters, Mary Norton, and Francis Boynton and Martha Kitchens.
Buddy was born and raised in College Park, GA and graduated from College Park High School. Following graduation, he served in the U.S. Army for 2 years, stationed in Germany. In 1947, he returned home and went to work for the White Motor Company in Atlanta. In 1961, he accepted a branch manager position and moved his family to Memphis, TN.
Buddy’s lifelong faith and commitment to God was exemplified by his service to the church as an active member and leader in many capacities at College Park Christian Church, Graceland Christian Church and Bethany Christian Church.
He enjoyed woodworking and sold hand-made items at local craft fairs for many years.
